1st - Don't make your character a teenager. Age twenty one is the youngest age I will accept. Teenagers don't belong in higher profile adventure RP's like this because they're still too young, ignorant about their world, and otherwise aren't strong enough to survive it. A seasoned adult is much more preferable to a teenager. I know everyone likes the idea of being sixteen or eighteen and being able to match or beat an adult, which is something of a Peter Pan complex or some kind of inferiority complex or both, but the fact of the matter is that a teenager cannot defeat a seasoned adult no matter how hard they try or how long they've trained.

2nd - No broken past please. I see WAY too much of "their parents were both killed in a bandit raid", "His mother died giving birth and his father was killed in front of his eyes by *insert name of evil lord here*". So please, no broken past. It's been done to death by people on this site and I really can't stand it anymore.

3rd - Make your character believable. If your character is young, between twenty one and twenty seven, thereabouts, they're not yet experienced enough to be able to defeat anyone with any weapon of their choice. Nor are they smart enough to be able to master tracking, hunting, stealth, thief skills, or any sort of combination. All those things take WAY longer than that to master so do not attempt to make our character some kind of prodigy in multiple fields because I won't allow it. If you want to god-mode, find yourself another RP.
